About Us
The Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group is a professional networking organization
for IT executives to discuss and share experiences related to technology
and business. Forums are devoid of sales and marketing solicitations.
Our members include some of the region’s most recognizable
companies in a variety of industries.
The Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group is a non-profit 501 (c) (6) membership
organization.
Interested in joining?
We welcome new members, but our membership size is capped. This
limitation keeps our meetings to an optimum size, allowing in depth
and open discussion. We usually have openings due to natural membership
turnover. Interested, qualified individuals are welcome to apply
for membership.
To be considered, candidates must represent a company in the Greater
Pittsburgh region with annual revenue of at least $50M. Representatives
from divisions of national or international companies with a significant
local presence are also eligible for membership. Each member is
the most senior person in charge of technology for his/her organization,
regardless of actual title (e.g., CIO, CTO, Director of Information
Systems, etc.). New members are accepted by a simple majority of
voting members present at a meeting.
To apply, complete our application.
Questions concerning our organization should be directed to Steve
